Ollantaytambo

OLLANTAYTAMBO.- After visiting the handicraft and Indian market of Pisaq in the morning, and lunching in a typical restaurant in the Sacred Valley, in the afternoon we visit the temple fortress site of Ollantaytambo. One of the most interesting aspects of the village of Ollantaytambo is its street plan: it is the only town in Peru that survives pretty much as it was laid out hundreds of years ago by the Incas.
