LOCATION: Cusco is located in southeastern Peru, Latitude 13º 30´45´´ South and Longitude 71º 58´33´´ West, at 3,360 metres above sea level.
CLIMATE: Temperate climate, with distinct wet and dry seasons. Annual mean temperature: 11ºC
BEST TIME TO TRAVEL: Any time of year is good to visit Cusco, but you should remember that the rainy season in the highlands is from December to March.
