RIVER RAFTING

Rafting in the Sacred Valley of the Incas along the Willcamayo (“Sacred River” in Quechua), known today as the Urubamba river. This exciting activity takes place amid the spectacular scenery of this fertile valley, surrounded by beautiful mountains and majestic glaciers.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is also renowned for the great many archaeological sites which remain as a testimony to the pre-Hispanic cultures of the region who lived in this temperate climate.

The Urubamba River flows west through the valley at an average altitude of  2,850m, and we can offer you excursions of varying length and scales of difficulty, accompanied by professional guides and with a view to your safety at all times. 

The one day trip begins with the transfer by bus from Cusco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will also provide you with a picnic lunch on the riverbank. Return to Cusco.
